Note from Zach Christiansen, the champion:
The event is pretty relaxed. Show up a bit early, clear out the shed so there is room to work (stumps, fire pits, some cobbler items) then I setup my forge and anvil so I’m ready for the day. After that it’s just making things, talking to visitors/answering questions, and I give away the items I make. Mostly I make hooks or duplex nail swords, but any small quick to make item has been good for me. I’m sure someone could do larger items, knives, etc too. I also have a table setup to show other items I have made in classes. It gives another talking point. And of course keeping an eye out for those folks who are extra curious and making sure they get a brochure.
