Next TGoM Membership meeting Wednesday, October 12 at Linders Specialties Co.
Greetings, everyone.
The Guild of Metalsmiths’ October membership meeting will be at Linders Specialties, 432 Atwater Street, St. Paul, MN 55117. (map below). According to their website, “Linders Specialty Company has been rolling steel for three generations since 1964 when Cornelis Linders founded the company.”
They are having us back. They have acquired some new equipment since we were there last, and hopefully we will be able to see some of what they can do while we are there. It was not certain what they might be able to do during our meeting, but it is always interesting and impressive to see some of the large works that they do.
Please bring any pieces for show and tell, including any pieces you may have shown before. As with all of our meetings, the shop staff are staying late so we need be considerate of their time and shop.
Potluck dinner at 6:30 pm, and 7:00 pm meeting will be as usual.
