Cost: $75 for non-members, $65 for Guild members Class size: Maximum 10, minimum 4 Class Description: Are you tired of buying your sweetheart a beautiful bouquet of flowers, just to find them in the garbage a week later? Here is an opportunity to learn how to make Calla Lilies. For this class, the Beginners Blacksmithing Class is a requirement. After taking this class, you can make your sweetheart a bouquet that will last forever, reminding them how much you care. No sweetheart? No problem… make them for yourself. Class Champion: Kim Maas, 651-328-7219, tgom.volunteer@gmail.com Tools & Equipment participants should bring to class: Square faced and/or cross pein hammer, scrolling pliers. Safety Equipment: The usual for forging with coal: gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing of natural fiber with no cuffs or fraying, and leather boots or shoes. Lunch arrangements: Bring lunch or visit one of the many restaurant choices in the area. |
