TIG Welding Class 2016 IS FULL!
June 18, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
$90Instructor: Jim Erickson
TIG (short hand for Gas Tungsten Arc) welding has become the industrial standard when precise, neat welds are required. You will find it used on everything from bicycle frames to nuclear reactor coils. In this class Jim Ericksen will try to bestow as much of his many year of experience with TIG into a day. After a little bit of basic theory we will jump right into welding coupons of stainless steel using some top-of-the-line equipment. No previous welding experience needed but the number of types of welds we learn will be determined by how fast people pick up on what is being taught (i.e. if you have some relatable experience going in, you might get further along). Note: The Guild is not responsible for helping you come up with what to tell your significant other about why you HAVE to get a TIG welder after this class. Everything up to that we’ll help with though.
